PR Influencer Marketing Lead

PR Influencer Marketing Lead
Get Planhat's name into the conversation before anyone needs to Google a solution. Build the earned-media and influencer engine our go-to-market team can run on.
Competencies
We're looking for a PR & Influencer Marketing Lead to build Planhat's earned-media and influencer engine from the ground up — securing press and podcast placements, coaching our executives for interviews and stage appearances, running influencer partnerships, and directing any outside PR agencies we bring in, so Planhat's name is already part of the conversation before a buyer ever searches for us.
What we're looking for:
Experience: 6–9 years running press, PR, or influencer programs in-house at a B2B SaaS or tech company, with real placements and relationships you can point to.
Media instinct: A sense for what's actually newsworthy and the craft to write a pitch that can cut through the noise.
Relationship builder: You invest time in building relationships with journalists, podcast hosts, and influencers for the long term.
AI fluency: Comfortable using AI tools to move faster on research, drafting, and monitoring, and building repeatable systems with them rather than starting from zero every time.
Executive-ready: Comfortable coaching executives and other non-marketers to sound like themselves in interviews and on stage.
Ownership: Comfortable being the first person to build a function from nothing with no existing playbook or team to lean on.
Trajectory
You'll own PR and influencer marketing end to end. From the first relationship you build to the systems that make this function run without starting over every time. Here's what that looks like:
Stay deeply fluent in what Planhat builds, how we're positioned, and the value it creates, and turn that fluency into pitches, bylines, and talking points that carry our narrative.
Build and maintain relationships with the journalists, podcast hosts, and industry voices who cover B2B SaaS, tech, and AI.
Live inside tech Twitter/X and the influencers driving the AI and B2B conversation, catching trends early enough to bring our CEO a specific way to get into them while they’re active.
Turn launches into sequenced drumbeats, coordinating events, podcasts, press, and content so each moment builds on the last
Prep and coach our executives for press interviews, podcasts, and speaking opportunities, sharpening the story they tell as much as booking the calendar
Identify and run influencer, creator, and customer partnerships, from first outreach through content and distribution
Track coverage and share of voice — where Planhat is (and isn't) showing up in the conversations our buyers are having — and use it to decide what to pitch next
Brief and direct any outside PR agencies we bring in, so what they pitch matches our story and their placements actually land
Definition of success
In a year, you're succeeding if:
Planhat's executives are showing up regularly in press and on podcasts relevant to our buyers.
You own a working, growing set of relationships with journalists, hosts, and influencers in our category.
We’re continuing to see an increase of requests for our spokespeople to be onstage, podcasts and interviewed for articles in top tier publications.
Awareness is measurably higher. More people at our target accounts recognize Planhat's name.
PR and influencer marketing is a real, systematic function at Planhat.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 per year. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a generous PTO policy, and other benefits.

Los Angeles
A 1928 landmark on Pacific Coast Highway, built in the Spanish Colonial Revival style and known for a generation as Thelma Todd's Sidewalk Café, a meeting place for the stars of 1930s Hollywood. It stands directly across from the beach, reached by a private bridge over the road. Behind it lie Italian gardens with a waterfall, outdoor terraces, and open views of the ocean — a stretch of coast where dolphins gather offshore.

About us
We're building the operating system for autonomous companies.
The future enterprise is autonomous. Commercial processes that today depend on human effort - servicing, retaining, expanding, selling and supporting — will increasingly be automated. The companies that make this transition will pull ahead. The ones that don't won't survive.
Planhat exists to make that transition real.
We started bootstrapped. Customer-funded, built on discipline instead of venture capital. That foundation shaped everything: how we build, how we sell, how we think about the long game.
Today, Planhat is the agentic customer platform of choice for 700+ companies — powering close to 10 million commercial relationships worldwide and billions of dollars runs through our platform. Wiz, Revolut, Nasdaq, Synthesia, Workday and Dropbox run their customer revenue through Planhat every year.
The shift driving all of this: business is moving to an outcome economy. Companies of the future will not buy software alone anymore — they want outcomes, and they renew or consume more when they get them. That changes everything about what enterprise software needs to be.
The winners will be the ones who build the context layer - a deep, structured, living picture of their business reality. Process automation deployed by operators — not advisors.
The outcome gap is the opportunity. Context is the moat. Deployment is the differentiator. We're building all three.
Our team spans the globe, anchored by offices in Los Angeles, London, and Stockholm. Join us.
